"Stakeholder management is critical to the success of every project in every organization I have ever worked with. By engaging the right people in the right way in your project, you can make a big difference to its success... and to your career.”  Mind Tools Ltd

Stakeholder Management is a process and control that must be planned and guided by underlying Principles.  Within a business or project, Stakeholder Management prepares strategic utilization of information/intelligence gathered during commonly formalized processes.

Stakeholder Management is important for supporting an organization or projects ability to achieve its strategic objectives by interpreting and influencing both the external and internal environments and by creating positive relationships with stakeholders through the appropriate management of their expectations and agreed objectives.

Stakeholder Management helps ensure successful change.  It helps assess and manage the environment around planned activity and brings out the interests of stakeholders.  It identifies potential conflicts, risks and challenges.  Understanding stakeholders as well as their needs, desires, characters, feelings, levels of influence, and perceptions is something that requires strong communication and people skills.

The benefit of good Stakeholder Management is obvious, but requires diligence and consistency.  This session will provide you with the tools to facilitate better management of your Stakeholder groups.
